Stop Reading, Start Doing and Start Earning

Haven’t started raking in the cash with your internet marketing efforts or online business? Are you beginning to think it’ll never happen? If you are then feel free to read. But set a target date to get to work or risk being just another knowledgeable failure.

Don’t feel bad, you’re hardly the first. In fact, you’re in good company. Even some of the successes out there have confessed that their early days were full of failures because they spent all their time reading blogs, writing comments and studying techniques. Take the good news to be that their success could be yours if you stop all those bad habits and start implementing what you’ve learned.

It’s the fear of investing time, money and effort that keeps us chained to inaction. We’re constantly revisiting our mentor’s sites and we feel positively lost when weeks go buy without updates and information. But the fact of the matter is that, if you’ve been reading for 3 months and haven’t started and continued the actual work, you are the only reason you’re failing.

The fear of failure shouldn’t be holding you back. In fact, you’ll learn more valuable information and will gain deeper insights from your failures than you ever could by investing more unproductive months reading what the gurus are telling you to do.

And once you start, don’t stop. If you setup one web property and build links to it, your next step should be to setup another web property and build links to it. Then another and another and another. Single shot success stories are rare for a reason. It’s because the odds of succeeding on your first go are virtually zero. But even if you start a site and it fails you will find that your future successes will teach you things you can apply to that failed site down the road to turn it around.

In other words, there are no failed experiences, just lessons. That isn’t some quaint saying losers rely on to feel better about their failures. It is true, honest fact. You learn from your mistakes. While this article is directed at internet marketers, it applies universally to life. Those who fail to act act to fail. Do something with that knowledge.
