Maybe you are wondering if you should take a data entry job online. There are many offers out there that seem to offer decent money for the work involved, but what it the real deal? Is this the best way to make money online?

In my experience it is not, and I can offer two alternatives that have paid me quite well as an alternative. Let’s take a look at how you can skip the online data entry job and do a bit better for yourself.

First of all, you could easily write freelance articles as a way to make extra cash, and anyone who can do online data entry can probably sit and compose an article. The amount of money that you can make is only going to be limited by the speed at which you can type, and your discipline in writing more articles. Putting in a few hours each and every single day can make you some real money in this way. If you only do a few articles per week then this is just lunch money, but if you force yourself to do, say, 3 hours per day then you will make a real part time income from this, especially if you can compose fast. It is certainly a worthy alternative to data entry, in my opinion.

Now second of all you, if you want to create something that can build up money for you in the future, a recurring sort of income, then you should publish your own content at either your own website or a free host of some sort. You can then put advertising on your site or try to sell affiliate products in order to make money. The neat thing about this is that if you get traffic from the search engines, then you may be able to make recurring and relatively passive income for a long time to come.
